Defender for Business further strengthens Business Premium’s existing offering by adding cross-platform endpoint protection with IOS, Android, Mac support and elevating endpoint security against sophisticated ransomware attacks through enterprise –grade technologies like Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Automated Investigation and Remediation.
Is Microsoft Defender Business available as a standalone subscription?
In addition to inclusion in Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Defender for Business is also available for purchase as a standalone from £2.30 per user per month.
If you already have Microsoft 365 subscriptions that don't include Microsoft Defender for Business, Customers will be able to attach Defender for Business to existing Microsoft 365 Subscriptions.
Non-Microsoft 365 customers like on-premises customers or Google Workspace customers will also be able to purchase the standalone Microsoft Defender Business Subscription.
