Chess Cloud Voice

Taylor Higson is a specialist print and packaging recruitment consultancy with an international presence throughout the UK and USA. Their clients include some of the biggest organisations in the print and packaging industry.

Background

As a recruitment consultancy, it’s crucial for Taylor Higson to make and receive reliable, high-quality calls. However, their existing setup was failing them. They had previously experienced poor call quality, an inability to transfer calls, and a lack of support from previous providers. Despite being promised a high-quality service, they were repeatedly let down, which severely impacted their ability to communicate effectively with clients and candidates. 

The Solution

Taylor Higson partnered with Chess in October 2024, seeking a solution that would bring an end to their phone troubles. 

The proposal was Chess Cloud Voice, a robust and reliable voice over IP (VOIP) telephony solution. Through a series of consultations, we gathered insights into exactly how the team wanted the system to function to ensure it would meet their business needs 

A demonstration of Cloud Voice showcased its capabilities, allowing them to explore how the scalable, cost effective features could be tailored for future growth. Once Taylor Higson was confident in the system, a contract was signed, and our Chess project manager expertly managed a smooth transition. Unlike previous providers, Chess handled the number porting process with speed and accuracy, ensuring the company was ‘live’ with no stress or delays. 

The Result

Since implementing Chess Cloud Voice, Taylor Higson’s call quality has significantly improved, transfers work seamlessly, and support is always readily available when needed. The transparency provided by the Chess One Team approach ensured there were no surprises throughout the entire process, which was smooth and stress-free. 

With a reliable communication system now in place, Taylor Higson can focus on their core business objectives, without technical disruptions—and have already begun scaling the solution to add new users into the system.
