We’re on the hunt for a skilled Purchase Ledger Accounts Assistant to bring expertise and energy to our finance function. Reporting directly to the Purchase Ledger Team Leader, you’ll be part of a dynamic team with diverse backgrounds in both practice and industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Coding and posting purchase invoices into Sage 200 and via our AP software (V1)
- Coordinating supplier statement reconciliations
- Managing the collation of invoices from different sources and distributing for authorisation
- Supporting supplier queries
- Posting of bank transactions, including supplier and customer allocations
- Along with further general account duties
Key Skills & Experience:
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload efficiently and successfully perform duties under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear understanding of accounting basics
- Great knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work well independently and within a team environment
- Knowledge of Sage 200 preferred, but not essential

Working Hours & Location:
A standard week is 37½ Monday to Friday
This is a home‑first position, giving you the freedom to work remotely while staying connected with the team. You’ll spend one day each week (Tuesday) at our Alderley Edge hub, collaborating face‑to‑face and sharing ideas. In addition, you’ll have access to our network of local hubs across the UK, with occasional ad‑hoc travel to other group offices or locations as needed.
