The Business Challenge
Just One Norfolk had a digital platform for families, delivering their universal community health services through the Healthy Child Programme.
The initial business challenge was that JoN found they needed to develop their existing platform further to be able to deliver the platform as a clinical intervention tool. Chess were able to place themselves as a candidate to deliver this through JoN’s procurement process and were selected as the desired provider for this service.
Chess were able to support Just One Norfolk's business challenge of developing their existing platform to be able to achieve the goals JoN had in place. This was done by redesigning and implementing a new public facing CMS on Umbraco.
This involved a series of design workshops over several months to create and refine wireframes, then designs, and define a new site structure. Chess then moved on to the implementation phase, carrying out weekly demonstrations for feedback. Then launching phase 1 (the main site) during April 2022, with two more feature releases planned in for this year.

Chess also provide a fully managed service – covering both hosting of the site and support.
Just One Nofolk have found that having the ability to develop the platform further has been able to build their relationships with other services across Norfolk.
Having the ongoing support from Chess continues to allow JoN to further develop the site and look at ongoing solutions as they arise to continue the platforms improvements.
