Microsoft are urging customers not to respond to any suspicious phishing emails asking for collection or payment on behalf of Microsoft.

The company stress that they do not directly reach out to end customers of partners in the CSP program for collection or payment purpose. More information can be found in this recent post on the Microsoft Cloud Yammer Community.
