Held at Mercedes-Benz World in Weybridge, Surrey the exclusive event was attended by hand-picked partners along with representatives from Chess and cloud-based solution telephony provider NFON. The action-packed day started off in the Lewis Hamilton Suite where Stephen Dracup, Chess Managing Director, welcomed everyone.

Following on from the introduction NFON experts, who provide the Chess Cloud PBX technology, gave an in-depth presentation of the NFON product roadmap. Partners were the first to see a demo of the new NFON features before discussing what’s new in more detail.

After a quick pit stop for coffee and pastries, it was time for a round table wish list discussion allowing partners to make their voices heard. Participants shared their opinion on using hosted voice products from Chess as well as other providers and got the chance to share their experiences and have their questions answered by the team.

Partners then enjoyed lunch in the car-themed Gullwing Bistro next to the Mercedes-Benz track, before getting geared up to get behind the wheel themselves.

Once briefed by the experts, it was time for the best part of the day. Partners were split into two groups, with some taking part in the challenging 4x4 experience and some opting for the thrilling hour of track driving.

Anita Wosket, Chess Wholesale & Acquisitions Manager said ‘The feedback from partners who attended the event was fantastic. It was a great opportunity to find out what our partners really want from a Hosted Voice Solution. We will be taking their feedback on board to further improve our Cloud PBX product going forward to provide a product that meets partner’s needs.’

Tim Smee, NFON Channel Account Manager commented ‘Chess is our only white label partner in the U.K. and we are looking forward to strengthening this special relationship over the coming years. The event was a fun way to hear from partners and to see what they are missing from existing solutions, which I think is really interesting and important.’
