Hollie Jervis, Partner Experience Leader, leads the chat with Oliver and delves into his previous career experience and background, his core responsibilities, the team he leads and his plans for 2020.
Responsible for leading the Sales strategy for Chess Partner, a large part of his role is centred around supporting Partner divisions – Airtime distribution, Wholesale and Billing. With over 650 unique Partners that work across all divisions, his focus is to look at maximising opportunities for their growth and adopting the most suited Partnering models that allow continued success for our Partners.
Heading up a team of eight, including Business Development Managers and Partner Sales Desk Teams; across divisions, he empowers the team to make a difference to the Partner Experience. He’s passionate about his team having the freedom to make changes, authority to make the right decision, optimise Partner relationships and explains how crucial this can be to the success of the business.
Looking ahead to 2020, Oliver’s number one priority is to work closer with our Partners and to develop the relationships we have right across Chess’s portfolio. He wants our Partners to feel they can trust Chess as a partner to deliver market-leading services and solutions; driving value, helping Partners grow and helping to develop relationships with their end customers. It’s our responsibility to make it simple to transact, provide our Partners with information they need and ultimately adding value to their proposition.
